QueryTek Review
In Short
QueryTek Review™ is the managed document review product in the QueryTek family, built for HIPAA-aligned managed workflows. It handles review of sensitive material where the question is not only whether the work was done well but whether the organization can demonstrate who saw what, when, and under which standard.
Definition
QueryTek Review is a workflow product, not a storage product. Its subject is the review pass: material arrives, is evaluated against a defined standard by people qualified to apply it, disagreements are resolved through a named path, and the outcome is recorded well enough to be explained months later.
Four things distinguish that from generic document handling.
Work is scoped to a client workspace. Every document, reviewer assignment, and outcome belongs to one engagement inside one tenant. Reviewers see the material they are assigned and nothing adjacent.
Standards are explicit. A review answers a stated question — clarity, risk, accuracy, accessibility — expressed through a standards profile and a rubric rather than left to individual judgement. Two reviewers applying the same rubric should reach comparable conclusions.
Disagreement has a route. Reviewers who reach different conclusions escalate to adjudication rather than negotiating informally, so the resolution is recorded alongside its reasoning.
Outcomes are evidence. A completed review produces a durable record of the decision, the standard applied, and the annotations supporting it — the artefact an auditor or client asks for.
Review sits on shared QueryTek platform identity and tenancy, so sign-on, tenant boundaries, and audit behaviour are the platform's concepts rather than product-specific reinventions.
Why It Matters
Organizations reviewing regulated, sensitive, or externally scrutinised material need both the review and the account of it. A review whose reasoning cannot be reconstructed is difficult to defend, whatever its quality at the time.
Naming the product boundary also keeps obligations honest: Review holds the managed-workflow commitments, while tenancy and access are platform capabilities described in the platform glossary.
How QueryTek Uses It
QueryTek Review is the anchor term for the managed review product; sibling terms in this glossary define its workflow and evaluation vocabulary. Product commitments follow the approved claims register, and feature-level attestations are provided through direct engagement.
