QueryTek EBM™ — Education Benefits Manager — is the education benefits orchestration product in the QueryTek family. It is in active development, not generally available. Its subject is connecting employers, HR systems, and learning providers so workforce education benefits can be administered as one governed process.
Education benefits are unusually fragmented. Eligibility is determined by the employer, enrolment happens at a provider, progress and completion live in a learning system, and reporting is expected by finance and HR. Each participant holds part of the record, and no single system holds the process.
EBM's scope is that process, described as four functions.
Connect. Establish the links between employer, HR platform, and provider so a benefit is one workflow rather than several disconnected transactions.
Verify. Confirm eligibility and entitlement before spend is committed, which is where the majority of reconciliation problems originate when it is done afterwards.
Translate. Reconcile the different vocabularies each participant uses for enrolment, progress, completion, and credentials, so a completion recorded by a provider means the same thing to the employer paying for it.
Report. Present the resulting record so a program can be evaluated on outcomes rather than only on spend.
The data scope spans enrolment, progress, completion, and credentialing — the lifecycle of a single benefit from approval to demonstrated outcome.
EBM shares QueryTek platform tenancy and API foundations, so tenant boundaries and access behaviour follow the platform rather than being defined by the product.
Employers fund education benefits and frequently cannot say what they produced. Uptake, completion, and credential attainment sit in systems that do not reconcile, so the program is managed on spend because spend is the only figure available end to end.
Naming the product boundary also keeps the glossary honest about maturity. EBM is in development, and this term defines what it is intended to do rather than what is available today.
QueryTek EBM is the anchor term for the education benefits product line and is in active development; Review and Tapestry are the generally available products. Availability, timelines, and feature scope follow product release communications and the approved claims register, not this glossary.
